The prices certainly have gone up compared to last year, but I would rather have amazing fruit, than produce that has come in a refrigerated truck.
The strawberries are from Plant City, which is only an hour drive from where I live. The smell of them is all over the house. I leave them out and eat the ripest ones each day. My breakfast is a combination of all the fruits, the pineapple I cut up in chunks, and dip them in the Activia yogurt.
What a perfect start to the day.

I have frozen fruits in my freezer for my smoothies. Blueberries, mangos and pineapple mostly and I enjoy it. Also, this way I don’t need to use ice cubes. 🙂
