I had to put the eye shield on before going to bed. That was fun as my hair kept sticking to the tape. I finally managed it, and although I couldn’t feel it on me, I did wake up a couple of times to check it was still on.
It’s now 26 hours since my cataract surgery, and my eye is less blurry today. It took me an hour and twenty minutes to do all my drops with morning, but should do the rest of them in half an hour.
I am putting my big protective glasses on and going out for brunch on my own. I have a few free meals, because of my birthday on Monday, so I will use one today before the time runs out on them.
