Manchester United don’t seem to take the advantage of a home match, and certainly lack the spark they have had in other years. Sancho scored in the 21st minute to put United ahead. They remained 1 up at half-time.

Southampton came out in the second half with fire in their bellies, and Adams scored in the 48th minute. There were lots of shots from both sides, as as many fouls. Possession was pretty even, and Southampton certainly deserved the away draw.
