First birthday without Len and I am happy.

I thought today would be so awful, waking up on my own, having breakfast, and looking around an empty house.

However, having fun Friday, Sunday, and Sunday has uplifted me so much, that I am happy to celebrate my birthday. That will be with my 2 girlfriends, Brenda, and Mindy, at the Valentine’s dinner/dance at the Eagles. With it only being 5 days since my cataract surgery Mindy is picking me up and bringing me home.

I love the cards that my daughter, and granddaughters sent me, and my favorite chocolate bars of all time. Cadbury Boost.

I will be the birthday girl, in cognito, with the big dark glasses on.
