We had our free pancakes at IHOP today.

It’s National Pancake Day, so I met my friend Brenda for an afternoon breakfast. We ordered decaf for me, and diet coke for her. The free stack of pancakes each, and Brenda ordered bacon, and I had sausage.

I was really surprised how empty the restaurant was. I can remember years ago there used to be lines out the door, and they were taking names. I guess the people that most needed free food aren’t able to go online.
