Tip top lunch at Sam’s Beach Bar.

My date for lunch today met me at Sam’s Beach Bar. It’s been 15 or 20 years since I was last there. The line was so long that we sat at the bar. This was great because we got much faster service.

We shared a Shrimp bucket, and Beer battered Fish and Chips. The food was excellent. The Shrimp were jumbo size, with sausage, corn on the cob, and red potatoes. The fish was Cod, fresh and flaky, the batter was crispy, and they had malt vinegar. It came with potato wedges and coleslaw.

I ate my piece of fish, half of the shrimp, one piece of sausage, and a little of the corn. I was so full. It was accompanied with a vodka and cranberry.

From there we walked the area, sat on the swinging seat, went up the lookout tower, and it was 4 p.m. before we even realized.

The dating game is starting to grow on me.
