I haven’t written much lately about working out. If you have been reading my blog on a regular basis, you would know that I often worked out at 3 different gyms in one day.
This slowed down when Len got sick, and then not at all. After his passing it took a year for the tears in my rotator cuff to repair. I then had the cataracts in both eyes taken care of.
April it was off to England to visit with my family.
Next it was time to take care of my right knee that has been swollen for at least 4 years. I finished going to physical therapy around a month ago, but still stretch, and do the exercises for that knee.
Most of this time I continued to do boxing with my trainer, but my strength and endurance was at an all-time low.
I have taken note this past month on how I get out of breath when boxing. So, I started back on my punching bag. I am up to 3,000 punches, and that’s certainly paid off. Instead of 2 and a half minutes boxing with my trainer, my first set is 7 minutes. What a difference.
Also, I have put on all the weight the doctor wanted me too, but have to watch what I eat from now on.
All good news.
