I only have to buy a few gifts for Christmas, but one is rather expensive, so I went to their website, and no sale. Then to Amazon and Walmart, nothing. That’s my Black Friday shopping done with an empty cart.

It is a good day to go pick up a few items at the grocery store and the local hardware store. I stayed in reading a book as I am a little under the weather but my husband told me, “no lines at Publix or Ace Hardware.”

I stayed away from in-person shopping today and only ordered picture prints online. This year, they added a surcharge for holiday orders, though. So I got what I wanted, but for a dollar more!
